UM Advising Commons

Freshman Seminar

This is a two credit, ten week interactive course focused on themes of race, ethnicity, sexual identity, social responsibility, the media and its impact on society and cultural evolution. Each class ranges from 15-20 students and meets for three hours per week. This course is ideal for intellectually curious students who are interested in exploring a broad variety of UM’s academic disciplines.
