MCLL Placement Exams

Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures

Placement Exams for Spanish, French and German

One placement exam during each Summer Orientation:

Thursday, June 24, 12:00-2:00 pm in LA 104

Thursday, July 8, 3:00-5:00 pm in LA 104

The MCLL placement exam is a computer adaptive program that determines what level of language you have already learned.  If you want to place out of introductory language classes, please come to LA 104 promptly at 12:00 pm.  We stop accepting test takers at 2:00 pm. The test is different for each person, often lasting 20-40 minutes.  Advisors from each language section will be present.
